The Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Republic of Ghana emphasized the key border crossing procedures for Ghanaians wishing to travel by road to the much-awaited 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire in a recent statement made on January 4, 2024.
The following are the requirements:
- Passport/Ghana Identification Card
- Yellow Fever Ticket
- Vaccination against meningitis
These requirements are critical for all Ghanaian football fans planning to go to support their country during the renowned event.
In addition to the border crossing restrictions, the Ministry also issued the Black Stars’ preliminary match schedules:

- Match between Ghana and Cape Verde
- Date: Sunday, January 14 – Time: 8:00 p.m.
