Standard Laptop
I’d recommend the HP Dragonfly G4 Notebook with the Intel i5 processor for a business or school laptop.
It won’t break the bank at $1,099 either. Dragonfly is HP’s premium brand, and while this isn’t a gaming laptop, it should suffice for school or business and offers a good combination of lightweight (2.2 lbs.) and over 10 hours of anticipated battery life.
With HP’s Wolf Security, it should be more secure than most other notebooks on the market, and it is also one of the more attractive laptops on the market. I’ve been impressed with the Dragonfly notebooks I’ve tried, and this is the one I’d take with me.
Laptop with AI Performance
Right now, I know of only one laptop that has AI enabled, but that will change in a few months. This is Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Studio 2, and it includes a built-in NPU (neural processing unit), which will be standard in most mid- to high-priced laptops by the end of next year but is presently only available in this one.
The Surface Studio Laptop 2 starts at $1,999, has a cantilevered screen, a good self-charging pen suited for employing tools like Dall-E, and should outperform ChatGPT-based generative AI applications in terms of performance. Given the high need for AI abilities, this might be quite useful for anyone looking for a little additional AI edge, as this technology is still growing in demand for anyone who know how to use it.
Headphones
