Donald Trump has defended the deployment of the National Guard in California, citing concerns that additional scheduled protests could cause instability to spread throughout the United States.
Speaking on the circumstances in Los Angeles, Donald Trump claims that “last night was terrible” and that the previous night was also awful.
“People with big heavy hammers, pounding the concrete curbs,” he continues.He claims that these “big chunks of concrete” were being dropped on police officers and automobile roofs.
“Los Angeles would be on fire if we didn’t intervene. “We have it in excellent condition, and Los Angeles would be on fire right now,” he says.
“Los Angeles would be burning” if the National Guard hadn’t been dispatched, he claims.According to the US chief, they have “some bad people” in custody.
“Los Angeles was under siege until we got there,” he continues.”The police were unable to handle it.”

The US leader referred to the demonstrators in Los Angeles as “paid agitators” and “insurrectionists”;
Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, blasted Trump’s “idea that the administration would usurp the authority of our state government” and “take it away from California governor Gavin Newsom” while defending his decision to send 5,000 troops to the city.
The “administration needs to stop the raids” is the answer to the violence, she said.
During a speech at Fort Bragg, Trump declared that he will be renaming military forts in the United States.
Speaking on the situation in Los Angeles, Donald Trump claims that he has sent thousands of National Guard members to defend federal law enforcement against a “vicious and violent mob” that is attacking them.
He continues: “What you are witnessing in California is a full blown assault on peace, public order and national sovereignty carried out by rioters carrying foreign flags with the aim of continuing a foreign invasion of our country.”
“Open border policy” is the “dumbest policy yet,” according to Trump.
The president continues by saying that the rioters only burn the American flag, not carry it.
“People that burn the American flag should go to jail for one year,” he says.
He adds: “Under the Trump administration this anarchy will not stand.”
