However, as he left a Manhattan court on Monday, his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, spoke briefly about his aunt, calling it a “rough day for myself and my family.”

Her departure as an appellate judge in 2019 brought an end to a civil misconduct investigation launched in response to charges in a New York Times article that she and her siblings, including then-President Trump, cheated on inheritance taxes.
During her brother’s presidency, she stayed mostly out of the spotlight, although she made headlines when her niece, Mary Trump, disclosed that she had secretly videotaped her aunt while promoting a book that slammed the former president.
Ms. Trump Barry could be heard harshly criticizing her brother in the tapes, claiming at one moment that the former president “has no principles” and is “cruel.”
Mr. Trump’s younger brother, Robert Trump, passed away in 2020 at the age of 71, and the former president’s first wife, Ivana Trump, passed away last year.
Fred Trump Jr, his older brother, died of a heart attack in 1981, at the age of 42.Elizabeth Trump Grau, Mr. Trump’s sole surviving sister, is 81 years old.
